Our Cookie Policy

This page sets out every cookie gamblits.uk sets, why we set it, how long it stays on your device and how you take control of it. We launched in 2025 with a simple rule: if we place something on your device, we tell you exactly what it does.

What Cookies Actually Do

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit. Each one stores a specific piece of information, such as the fact that you logged in, that you switched the site to English, or that you already closed our cookie banner.

Cookies are not programmes and they cannot read files off your computer. They only send back the data we placed in them. Your browser handles them automatically, and you can inspect, block or delete every single one through its settings, which we cover further down this page.

Cookies at Gamblits Casino

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working. Without them you could not log in, your session would break between pages, and our fraud checks would fail. We set them as soon as you arrive and we do not ask for consent, because the site cannot function without them. Names include gb_session, gb_auth and gb_security.

Functional

Functional cookies remember choices you make: your language, your preferred currency display, sound settings on our games and whether you collapsed a lobby filter. They contain no tracking data. We only set them with your consent, and two examples are gb_lang and gb_pref.

Analytics

Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, how visitors move through the site: which lobby sections get used, where deposit flows get abandoned, which pages load slowly. The data is aggregated and cannot single you out. We use it to fix problems and improve layout, not to build a profile of you.

Marketing

Marketing cookies support our promotions. They remember whether you already saw an offer banner, cap how often that banner reappears, and help us show our bonuses to people who might genuinely want them. Marketing cookies are switched off unless you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

The table below lists the representative cookie names for each category on gamblits.uk.

Cookies From Third Parties

Some cookies on our pages are set by partners we work with, not by us. We allow three categories, and each partner works under a written agreement that limits what they may collect.

Analytics providers measure site performance on our behalf and report only aggregated figures back to us. Advertising partners set marketing cookies only if you consented, and only to cap banner frequency or measure whether a promotion led to a visit. Payment providers may set a cookie during a deposit to verify your device and prevent card fraud; those cookies exist purely for the security of the transaction and expire shortly after it completes.

When you leave gamblits.uk, we do not control what other sites do. Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policy of the partner that set them, and we list the categories in our cookie banner so you always know what you are consenting to.

Manage Your Cookie Preferences

On our site

The cookie banner appears on your first visit. You can accept everything, reject everything except strictly necessary cookies, or open the settings and switch each category on or off individually. Your choice is stored in a cookie of its own, so we will not ask again on your next visit. You can reopen the settings at any time from the link in the footer marked Cookie Preferences.

In your browser

Every major browser blocks or deletes cookies through its settings menu. Here is where to look.

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and Cookies.
  • Safari: Settings, then Privacy, where you can block all cookies or cross-site tracking.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies.

What happens if you block

Blocking strictly necessary cookies means you cannot log in or play for real money, because sessions and security checks break. Blocking functional cookies means the site forgets your language and display settings each visit. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies has no effect on game play; you simply see fewer relevant offers and we lose the usage data we use to improve the site. Nothing about blocking cookies affects your right to withdraw funds.

How Long We Keep Cookies

Every cookie we set has a fixed expiry, and nothing outlives it. Session cookies vanish the moment you close your browser. Persistent cookies last for a set number of days, after which your browser deletes them automatically. We choose the shortest duration that still works: a marketing cookie does not need a year, so it gets 30 days.

You never have to wait for expiry. Logging out clears your session cookies immediately, and clearing cookies through your browser removes every stored value, including your banner choice, in one action.

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
  • Strictly necessary cookies: 30 to 90 days.
  • Functional cookies: up to 365 days for language, 90 days for preferences.
  • Analytics cookies: 90 days, aggregated only.
  • Marketing cookies: 30 days maximum.
  • Your consent choice: 365 days, so we do not re-prompt you on every visit.

When We Update This Policy

We review this page whenever we add, remove or change a cookie category, and at least once a year. Material changes, such as a new third-party category or a longer retention period, are announced on the site before they take effect, and where consent is affected we ask for it again through the banner. The date of the last review always appears at the top of this page. Questions go to [email protected] or to our 24/7 live chat, and our Data Protection Officer handles any request about your cookie data directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to accept cookies to play at Gamblits Casino?

You need strictly necessary cookies only. They keep you logged in and run our security checks. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional, and rejecting them does not affect game play or withdrawals.

Can I change my cookie choice later?

Yes. Open Cookie Preferences from the site footer and switch each category on or off. The new choice takes effect immediately and overwrites the old one.

Do you use cookies to track me across other websites?

Only marketing cookies set by advertising partners can relate to other sites, and only if you consented. We set no cross-site tracking cookies ourselves.

What happens to cookies if I close my account?

Session and auth cookies are cleared at logout. Any remaining cookies on your device expire on their own schedule, 30 to 365 days depending on type, or you can delete them instantly through your browser settings.
